Jon pulled Sarah close, surprised that the two of them already had such a warm and intimate relationship given, well...his own past wasn't necessarily amenable to such and he was fairly certain hers wasn't either.

It was pure chance that led them to the spot where he'd met her and he marveled again at the sheer isolation of the spot. He supposed that made it good for what he intended.

It did need a modicum of privacy, after all.

He kept his arm tight around her as they walked, imagining that the beach was a suitable place for those sorts of...explorations. He'd never been terribly comfortable with the hotel, as it was, and preferred the outdoors since that was the same everywhere. He led her to the strand he'd met her at, pulling her down next to him.
